Jeremy Sarmiento

Jeremy Sarmiento is a music powerhouse, not just for his vocal chops but for his talent as a song writer, singer, vocal arranger and multi-instrumentalist as well. He also serves as a choir conductor for several groups and a voice and performance coach. When not coaching, he is a sound engineer and a music producer. He was part of the first batch of the Elements Songwriting Camp.  Currently, he is Event Essentials’ Talent Manager and Coordinator. He has also composed jingles for NCCC, Market Basket, and many others. He is well known for his contributions as a Musical Director for Star of Davao Season 3-7, Star Search 2013 and Musikahan. Currently, Jeremy is the Head of Muzic’s Kool and the official talent scout of WCOPA.

Paolo Sisi

Paolo is the third of four sons. Initially, he graduated with a degree of Physical Therapy, but pursued his passion for music after. He started his music career at age 13 playing in the church band where he honed his craft in playing the bass along the way. Paolo’s love for music stretched his musical skills as he further embraced the keyboards, the drums, the percussions and the guitar. Today he is not only musician but an arranger and composer as well. He now continues the same passion and musical prowess while he teaches these instruments to his students in Muzic’s Kool.

Rafael Donato

He did 4 years of medical training before he pursued a career in music. Since then, he never looked back. He started playing the drums professionally 14 years ago. He studied under renowned Jazz drummer and guru, Mar Dizon in Manila. Since his first band, the All Acid Jazznonet 9 piece band, Worklimits, Raffy has worked with several artists like Luke Mejares, Chad Borja, Jinky Vidal, Loyd Umali, Vice Ganda, Nina, Thor, and international Jazz Pianist Boy Katindig to name a few. He currently plays with Soulplay, FusionJuice, 7th Heaven, Alconera Project and Gauss and Guys and teaches drums in Muzic’s Kool.

Janice Uy

Janice started singing professionally at the age of 15. In 2004, she became a monthly semi-finalist of Abs-Cbn’s Star in a Million. She also was a part of the top 12 females in the first edition of Philippine Idol in 2008. Janice studied classical singing in the University of Immaculate Conception under the tutelage of Mee Hai Cho, a Korean born Italian conservatory music graduate, for 4 years. Currently, she is the lead female vocalist of Soulplay, Fusion Juice and 7th Heaven as well as a voice teacher of Muzik’sKool.

Jonathan Ferrero

Jonathan “Cacho” Ferrero comes from a musically-inclined family where both parents are musicians. He is a singer, pianist and a songwriter. Cacho developed his passion for music at a young age and took up Music major in Piano at the University of Immaculate Concepcion. He was also part of the Elements Songwriting Camp. Currently, he is the resident arranger and head of Music Production of Muzic’s Kool. He is currently teaching and sharing his knowledge in music at Southpoint School of Davao as a music teacher.

Mark Andrian Millare

Mark Andrian Millare is one of the youngest, promising drummers in the city and has been influenced by top musicians in Davao such as Raffy Donato, Paolo Sisi and Nonoy Bernardo. He comes from a family of musicians and songwriters, his mom, Maida Barrientos and uncle, Jinggoy Barrientos. Currently, he is one of the drum instructors of Muzic’skool.

Chester Herrero

Chester Herrero is a graduate of Bachelor of Music major in Piano from the University of Immaculate Conception. He is also part of (band) and have been active in the Davao music scene, playing for different bands, prestigious events and concerts. Currently, he teaches music in his alma mater and is the head teacher of Muzic’s Kool piano department.

Robert Stormowski

Robert Stormowski started his musical education at the age of 7 at The Kazimierz Wilkomirski School of Music in Elblag, Poland. He graduated from The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Bialystok, Master of Arts with a Degree in Violin. He started to work as a violin teacher and became a violinist The Felix Nowowiejski Philharmonic Orchestra of Olsztyn, Poland. He performed many concerts, tours abroad and worked as violinist in string quartet and classical trio onboard international cruise lines. Currently, Robert stays in the Philippines and works as a violin and viola teacher and director of the String Orchestra at The University of The Immaculate Conception in Davao City. He works also as a violin teacher in Muzic’s Kool in Davao City.

Abby Ghia Racho

She discovered her love for singing at the age of 10 by joining a choir group in her school. She’s an alumni of UIC Girls Choir. She was trained not just in singing but also in performing and was exposed in broadway, theater and also experienced solo performing. The choir won 1st Runner-Up in Glee Showchoir Showdown at SM Megamall, Manila (2011). She is also a member of PSquare, a vocal group in Davao. PSquare competed in Gensan Summerfest Voice & Beats and Acapella Open International Grand Finalists 2018. She is one of the worship leaders of their church at Victory Davao. She is currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource, that taught her to love teaching and train people. Now, she shares her passion in singing and one of the voice coach of Muzic’s Kool.

Valene Lagunilla

Valene started singing popular songs when she was 12. She did not know she had a good classical quality of voice until she enrolled Bachelor of Music, Major in Music Education and Voice as an applied instrument under her mentor Mr. Rogerbert Goleng at the University of the Immaculate Conception. She eventually worked part time in her alma matter as a voice teacher after graduation. Valene is a and a voice teacher at the Muzic’s Kool.

Erika Panotes

Erika J. Panotes found her love of music when she joined a choir in elementary. However, she was already studying classical piano at a young age. After becoming a church pianist, she decided to pursue a degree in music. She graduated from the University of the Immaculate Conception with a degree in Bachelor of Music major in Music Education and started becoming a teacher in Southern Christian College in Midsayap, North Cotabato. Currently, she is a piano teacher in Muziks’kool and at the same time finishing her degree in Bachelor of Music Major in Piano.

Koi Sevilla

Mignon “Koi” Sevilla started her singing career with Davao’s renowned performing group Songspell Philippines Inc. when she was 17 years old. After graduating with a degree in Bachelor of Arts major in Communication Arts from Ateneo de Davao University, she spent her time performing with Songspell both locally and abroad. She decided to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Music major in Music Education concentrating in Voice when she became the assistant musical director of the group. Aside from graduating (again) from University of the Immaculate Conception, she also participated in workshops with The Company, Robbie Guevarra of 9 Works Theater as well as other mentors in the field of theater and performing arts. Currently, she is the musical director of Songspell Philippines Inc. as well as a teacher and the head of the Vocal Department of Muzic’s Kool.

Meriam Fuentes

Meriam R. Fuentes started studying classical piano when she was 8 years old and since then became a church choir pianist and music director. She was a former pianist of University of Mindanao choir and was recruited to accompany different choir groups until she decided to pursue her talent with a degree in music. She was graduated from the University of Immaculate Conception with a degree in Bachelor of Music Major in Music Education. She currently works as a piano teacher in Muzic’sKool.

Ferdinand Fernandez

Starting at age 10, Ferdinand began learning guitar, but stopped. With a newfound passion, he began taking the guitar seriously when he was 13, which eventually grew to a passion for music and many years down the line, a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. Aside from teaching guitar, he is also one of our resident arrangers here in Muzic’s Kool.

Jessica Therese Roa

Jessyca started her musical journey as she joined the UIC Girls’ Choir by the age of 13. She joined this choir for her whole High School years. Given the opportunity to perform inside and outside Davao City and realize the beauty of Music and Music Education, she decided to continue her journey until college where she took up Bachelor of Music Major in Music Education Concentrating in Piano at the University of the Immaculate Conception. She started to study and learn classical pieces for the piano and still continued to be an active member of the UIC Chorale from the year 2015. With the opportunities given to her through the years of studying Music and having the determination to share her musical skills to others, she decided to teach in Muzic’s Kool as a piano teacher.

Floyd Valdez

He started singing at the age of 4 and joined competitions in elementary. He is an alumnus of Singing Teens and University of Mindanao Chorale. The choir won Champion in the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) 2009 held at CCP, Manila. Floyd got his bachelor’s in Tourism Management at University of Mindanao. Won in the 119th Philippine Independence Day Singing Competition held at the Dubai World Trade Center year 2017. He is a member of PSquare, a vocal group from Davao, one of the finalists in Akapela Open International 2018 held at CCP. Today, he shares his love for singing as one of the vocal coaches of Muzic’s Kool.

Richard Pleños

Richard R. Pleños discovered his passion in playing guitar at the age of 15 while in high school. He finds playing guitar as an escape to the nitty gritty of studying and now as an avenue to express his passion while practicing his career as a public-school teacher at San Miguel Elementary School, Davao City. He is a musician formerly connected to several music studios in the city. Today, as one of the teachers in Muzic’s Kool, he is committed to share his passion wholeheartedly.

MA. Leonora Catog

Ma. Leonora V. Catog is a graduate of Bachelor of Music Major in Music Education with Piano and an applied instrument. She was a member of UIC chorale and participated in CHED Cultural Festival 2010. She was a music teacher for 6 months in UIC – High school department. Today, Leonora teaches Piano in Muzic’s Kool.

Neal Keith Gonzales

Neal Keith A. Gonzales is a graduate the University of the Immaculate Conception. Showing both interests in singing and playing classical piano, he received his degree of Bachelor of Music major in Music Education  with concentration in Piano and applied minor  in voice where he developed and broadened his knowledge and  love for music. His love for singing in church led him to become the vice president of their glee club in high school. He continued this love for choral singing all through his college days by being a member and president of the UIC Choral under the baton of Sir Rogerbert Goleng. Currently, Neal shares his passion for music as a piano and voice teacher in Muzic’s Kool.
